The Neuro Well provides specialized care for post-traumatic stress disorder. We combine psychiatry and neurology expertise to understand how trauma affects both the brain and the mind, giving you a more complete path to healing.

- Feeling unsafe even in safe surroundings
Why We Check the Brain
Trauma can change how the brain processes stress, memory, and emotion. Conditions like traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, or sleep disorders can overlap with PTSD and make symptoms worse. We look at the full picture, brain and mind, so nothing is missed and treatment is targeted.
How We Evaluate
Your first visit is a private, unhurried conversation via telehealth. We ask about what you've been through, how it affects your daily life, and what you've tried before.
We review your medical history, sleep, and any past neurological concerns to build a complete understanding before recommending a plan.
What We Offer
We create a step-by-step plan tailored to your experience. Treatment may include evidence-based therapy techniques, lifestyle adjustments, and other clinical options to help your nervous system find balance again.
Every step is discussed with you so you stay informed and in control of your healing process.
Ongoing Monitoring
When clinical treatment is appropriate, we choose options with the best evidence for PTSD, starting conservatively and adjusting carefully. We monitor for changes and track how well symptoms improve over time.
Regular follow-ups ensure your treatment stays safe, effective, and aligned with your goals.
Skills to Help You Heal
We teach practical strategies during your visits and track their effectiveness.
- Grounding techniques to stay present during flashbacks
- Breathing exercises to calm the nervous system
- Sleep hygiene practices for more restful nights
- Strategies to manage triggers in daily life
- Mindfulness practices to reduce hypervigilance
When to Seek Care
Reach out if trauma symptoms have lasted more than a month, are getting worse, or are interfering with your work, relationships, or daily life. If you're using alcohol or other substances to cope, or if you feel unsafe, it's time to talk to a professional.
How to Prepare
Bring a list of current treatments, any past diagnoses, and notes about your symptoms. You don't need to share every detail right away. We move at your pace.
