Anxiety Care
The Neuro Well focuses on easing intense anxiety and panic so you can move through your day with more calm. We combine psychiatry and neurology expertise in one visit with one provider. That lets us find causes that may be missed elsewhere and build a plan that fits your life.

- Feeling short of breath
- Stomach upset or feeling dizzy
- Worrying it might happen again
Why We Check the Brain
Anxiety can come from many places. Sleep issues, hormonal changes, pain, or other brain conditions can make anxiety worse. We review medical history and any past tests. This lets us spot things that should be treated together, not alone.
How We Evaluate
Your first visit is a calm talk via video. We ask about your worries, how long they have lasted, and what makes them worse or better. We ask about sleep, medicines, and health.
We use short, clear questions, and we may ask for a short form to track symptoms over time.
What We Offer
We build a simple plan that fits your goals. Plans may include medicine, brief skills training, and changes to sleep or routine. We teach small tools you can use at home.
Additionally, we offer therapy when needed. All steps are thoroughly discussed so you know what to expect.
Treatment and Monitoring
When medicine is right, we choose options with few side effects. We start low and move slowly. We watch for side effects and check how well the medicine reduces worry or panic.
We set clear follow-up visits so changes are safe and steady.
Practical Skills You Can Use
We teach these during the visit and track whether they're working.
- Short breathing exercises to calm a panic wave
- Quick checks to break a worry loop
- Simple sleep steps to help you rest more deeply
- Daily routines that lower stress over time
- Grounding techniques to stay present during anxiety
When to Seek Care
You should get help right away if the panic attacks start and you don't feel you can cope, or when worry is making your daily activities tough. If there are drastic changes in sleep or eating, or if you feel very down, reach out to us.
How to Prepare
Bring a list of all treatments you are on now and any notes or test results from the past. That way, we can look into a pattern fast.
Anxiety questions, answered
Can I get help for panic attacks via telehealth?+
Yes. We commonly treat panic disorder via telehealth, including evaluation, treatment when appropriate, and coordination with therapists for CBT.
Will I be put on benzodiazepines?+
We use benzodiazepines sparingly and only when clinically indicated. Most patients do well with SSRIs/SNRIs, lifestyle changes, and therapy.
How long until anxiety treatment works?+
Most first-line antidepressants used for anxiety take 2 to 6 weeks for full effect. We schedule follow-ups to titrate doses and monitor response.
Do you treat anxiety alongside other conditions?+
Yes, anxiety often co-occurs with ADHD, depression, sleep disorders, and migraines. Our integrated psychiatry + neurology model is designed exactly for that.
