Amanda Seifan, RN, BSN completed nursing school at Barry University School of Nursing, Miami Shores, FL. She pursued pediatric nursing training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL prior to graduating. Amanda received the Alex Santora award for Pediatric Excellence during that time. After nursing school, she was recruited to Miami Children’s Hospital, Respiratory Unit. She was recognized as “New Employee of the year”, precepted nursing students and graduates, and chair of the research committee for her unit.  Amanda’s outstanding performance earned her a position at Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital as RN Quality & Compliance Coordinator for the Adult Heart Transplant Program. Upon moving to Florida with her growing family, she resumed her work in quality. She serves as the RN Quality and; Accreditation Coordinator at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Cancer for their Hematology & Oncology care.
